This Edelweiss is known from the First World War from the K and K (Austria Hungary)
Mountain troops in the later course of the war and also in the Second World War
was then also used by German mountain troops as a badge as a badge of honor
worn on the army mountain cap on the left side.
This tradition continues with the mountain troops to this day.
